Town Archives

The Town Council is responsible for the Town Archives in Aylsham. These are located on the upper floor of the Town Hall next to the Council Chamber.

Assisted by a dedicated group of volunteers led by Maggie Vaughan-Lewis, Hon. Archivist, the Town Council has responsibility for the Aylsham Archive, a wonderful collection of printed material and photographs spanning over 200 years. The Archive is usually open each Wednesday from 10.00am – noon – but please check with the Council office first.
